Cream cheese and carrot lox bagels

So satisfying and delish everytime! This Vegan version of a lox is creamy, full of taste easy to make.

  • 1.Combine all marinade ingredients in a closeable container
  • 2.Add the carrot strips and marinade in the container overnight.
  • 3.Serve the carrot lox over an open bagel smeared with our Plain Cream Cheese.
  • 4.Garnish with fresh dill and chives.

  • 2-3 Medium carrots, peeled into thin strips
  • Bagels
  • 1 tub of Irene's Plain Cream Cheese
  • Fresh dill and chives

Marinade ingredients:

  • 2 Tbsp maple syrup
  • ¼ cup Braggs liquid aminos (can substitute with soy sauce, use a bit less)
  • Worcestershire sauce 2 Tbsp
  • 2 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • ¼ cup kelp strips
  • ½ to 1tsp (to taste) liquid smoke
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 2 Tbsp water
