Pasta – creamy mushroom and cheese sauce

A creamy and comforting pasta dish

  • 1.Fry the Thyme and garlic in butter and olive oil. Add 1/4 of the mushrooms and spring onions and fry until brown. Add the rest of the mushrooms and fry until they start to become soft.
  • 2.Mix the cold milk with the Cheese Sauce Powder and Corn Starch. Add to the mushrooms and stir regularly until boiling for about 5 minutes. Add the basil and sage leaves.
  • 3.Prepare pasta as usual. Add the sauce to the pasta and serve while hot!

You'll need:

  • 1 Packet of spring onions
  • 1 tbsp Irene's Gourmet Butter (Medium Fat Spread)
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 Sprig of Thyme
  • 1/2 Clove of garlic (optional)
  • 2 Punnets of mushrooms
  • 3 cups Plant Milk
  • 1/3 tsp Salt
  • Basil Leaves
  • Sage Leaves
  • Cheese Sauce Powder
  • Corn Starch
